Esper, an Oyster 435 built in 1989, came to PSS at the start of 2014 with Jamie, Liz and Millie the cat. The refit project began under the close supervision of the owners and Un, assistant manager of PSS. They originally planned to stay for 3 months, but due to various reasons (see their blog and videos), it took one full year (and 1 month) to finish. During their time in Satun, Jamie and Liz became a big part of the community here, and befriended many of the workers, boaters, and locals.
